Photography Terms & Client Agreement

By booking a session with Isabella Grossman Photography, clients acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Booking & Retainer

A non-refundable retainer fee is required to reserve all sessions. Dates are not guaranteed until the retainer has been received.

The remaining balance for all sessions must be paid in full on or before the day of the shoot. Failure to submit final payment may result in cancellation of the session and/or withholding of edited galleries and images until payment has been received in full.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the session and withholding of final galleries or images.

Cancellations or modifications made within 72 hours of the scheduled shoot will result in forfeiture of the initial deposit used to reserve the session date and time. The deposit is non-refundable and serves as a reservation and inconvenience fee. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions page for full policy details.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Retainers are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Clients may request to reschedule with reasonable notice. Rescheduling requests are subject to photographer availability and are not guaranteed.

Isabella Grossman Photography reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a session due to illness, emergency, unsafe weather conditions, natural disasters, travel complications, or other circumstances outside of reasonable control.

If the photographer must cancel and is unable to reschedule, any payments made beyond the retainer will be refunded.

Copyright & Image Ownership

All photographs taken by Isabella Grossman Photography remain the sole intellectual property and copyright of Isabella Grossman unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Clients receive personal-use rights to their delivered images. Images may not be altered, heavily filtered, edited, sold, submitted to publications, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

RAW/unedited files are never included or released.

Clients acknowledge that payment for a photography session entitles them only to the final edited gallery delivered by Isabella Grossman Photography. The photographer retains full rights to all RAW, unedited, rejected, duplicate, test, or unreleased images and is under no obligation to provide them to the client. Withholding RAW or unedited files is solely at the photographer’s discretion and is considered standard professional practice.

Isabella Grossman Photography reserves the right to use images from sessions for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, advertising, publication, competition, and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing before the session date.

Artistic Style & Editing

Clients acknowledge that they are hiring Isabella Grossman Photography for her unique artistic style and editing approach.

Final edited images are delivered at the photographer’s professional discretion. Requests for extensive re-editing, excessive retouching, body modification, stylistic changes, or selective delivery requests may be declined or subject to additional fees.

The photographer is not responsible for dissatisfaction related to personal appearance choices including hair, makeup, wardrobe, tanning, weather conditions, facial expressions, or participation level during the session.

Client Cooperation

Clients are responsible for arriving on time and prepared for their session.

Late arrivals may shorten the session time. Excessive lateness may result in cancellation without refund.

The photographer is not responsible for missed images due to:

  • Late arrivals

  • Uncooperative children, pets, or participants

  • Failure to follow instructions

  • Wardrobe malfunctions

  • Closed locations or denied access

  • Weather conditions outside of reasonable control

Right to Refuse or Cancel Services

Isabella Grossman Photography reserves the right to refuse, end, or cancel a session at any time for any reason.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Disrespectful, inappropriate, threatening, or rude behavior

  • Unsafe shooting environments or conditions

  • Situations that cause discomfort to the photographer

  • Harassment, intoxication, or aggressive conduct from clients or accompanying individuals

If a session is terminated due to client behavior, refunds will not be issued.

Hotel & Private Property Photography Policies

Many hotels, resorts, private clubs, campuses, and private properties require permits, guest status, or prior authorization for professional photography on their premises.

It is solely the client’s responsibility to:

  • Confirm photography policies with the property

  • Obtain any required permissions or permits

  • Verify guest access requirements

  • Pay any associated permit or location fees

Isabella Grossman Photography is not responsible for denied access, security removal, trespassing claims, permit violations, fines, fees, or any issues related to property photography restrictions.

If a location denies photography access upon arrival, the session may need to be relocated immediately and session time will continue as scheduled.

Liability Waiver

Clients understand that participation in a photography session may involve certain risks, including but not limited to walking on uneven terrain, beaches, cliffs, roads, parking lots, trails, stairs, rocks, water, or outdoor environments.

By participating in a session, clients voluntarily assume all risks associated with the shoot.

Isabella Grossman Photography shall not be held liable for:

  • Injuries, accidents, or physical harm sustained during a session

  • Damage to personal property

  • Lost or stolen items

  • Illness, allergic reactions, or environmental conditions

  • Actions of third parties or location staff

  • Vehicle damage, parking violations, towing, or citations

Clients are responsible for their own safety and the safety of any minors, guests, or pets attending the session.

Weather & Environmental Conditions

Outdoor sessions are dependent on weather and lighting conditions. Isabella Grossman Photography reserves the right to reschedule sessions only in cases of genuinely unsafe, hazardous, or uninhabitable weather conditions.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Thunder or lightning

  • Hail

  • Heavy storms

  • Flooding

  • Snow or icy conditions

  • Dangerous winds

  • Natural disasters or emergency conditions

Clouds, fog, light rain, cold temperatures, wind, overcast skies, or other normal outdoor conditions do not automatically qualify for cancellation or rescheduling.

Clients acknowledge that weather and natural lighting are part of outdoor photography and artistic outcomes may vary accordingly.

Image Delivery

Final galleries are delivered digitally within the estimated turnaround timeframe discussed at booking. Turnaround times may vary during busy seasons.

The photographer is not responsible for delays caused by illness, emergencies, technical failures, editing backlog, travel delays, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their images upon delivery. Isabella Grossman Photography is not responsible for long-term image storage or lost files after delivery.

Force Majeure

Isabella Grossman Photography shall not be held responsible for failure to perform services due to causes beyond reasonable control including but not limited to illness, injury, acts of God, weather events, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, governmental restrictions, equipment theft/failure, transportation issues, or emergencies.

Agreement

By booking a session and submitting payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
